Our programs specialize in providing individualized care to to people who have had challenges being successful in other service models.

Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing support and training in our community residential service sites throughout Twin Cities area. Anticipated job duties will include:Providing nursing support to people supported by Beacon Specialized Living: Complete nursing assessments as requested, assist in triaging medical needs and questions, monitoring health needs of people living at program sites, assist with coordination of resident psychiatric, medical, dental, and optical appointments as needed.Provide and develop training for Direct Support Professional and Management staff: Develop, maintain, and teach Medication Administration trainings as well as other additional trainings required based on the needs of the people supported (i.e. epi-pen training, diabetic training, medical equipment training, etc).Provide organizational support and consultation: assists with development and revisions of medical policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned or requested.Adheres to BSLS Core Values, Mission Statement, and Corporate Philosophies.This is a full-time, exempt, salary position that will be based out of our administrative offices in Mendota Heights, MN. Support will be provided to our program sites across the Twin Cities and surrounding areas with paid mileage; this person will be spending a significant amount of time driving between sites.

Requirements:
Valid RN license in the state of Minnesota with a minimum of 2 years previous experience required. Ability to pass a MN Department of Human Services Background Study check required per MN Statute 245C.
