Health Services Manager
Overview:
Position Summary: Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Manage, schedule, and oversee Range Center, Inc.’s Health Services Department nursing staff and support services staff. Facilitate classroom and 1:1 training to Range Center, Inc. employees to ensure competent skill demonstration for health related items. Conduct in-home visits to make periodic direct observations of residents and staff; including during activities of daily living, appointments, admissions, and discharges. Ensure accurate tracking and collection of health related information, updating records as required to report to resident teams, consultants, health facilities, and licensing agencies. Actively participate in health related meetings, in order to present resident health status and maintain accurate health records. Contact the consulting RN and/or other consultative services as needed for direction and/or consultation when required. Facilitate communication with outside health facilities such as pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, etc. Other tasks as listed per job description.
Requirements:
• Hold a current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice practical nursing • Ability to pass a criminal background study • Must be at least 18 years of age • Possess a valid MN Driver's License • Hold or be willing to immediately obtain a current instructor certification in First Aid/CPR • Use of clear and understandable written and verbal English • Excellent oral and written communications with a demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people • Must be reliable, honest, and possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills along with a professional demeanor • Alignment with Range Center, Inc.’s Mission, Vision, and Philosophies
