Responsibilities:
Schedule: Part-time, weekends (6:30pm Friday - 12pm Sunday) Pay: Starting at $15.44 per hour Location: Camp Eden Wood in Eden Prairie, MN True Friends Benefits: Potential Bonus for those holding a medication administration certification Work-Life Balance Support Work Environment CPR/First Aid & Other Certification Opportunities Employee Referral Program Continued Education and Training Options Organizational Events Cabin Rental Discounts How You'll Contribute: Responsible for the health, personal cares, safety, and general welfare of participants Leads activities as assigned by leadership Reports any changes in participant condition Ensures individual’s belongings are properly checked in and the correct items are sent home Administers medication Completes all documentation requirements Maintains cleanliness of the property utilized by participants and staff Participates in training and development Attends and participates in meetings Transports participants to various locations as needed Performs other duties as assigned What You'll Bring to the Table: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred High school degree required, some college in a related field desirable Strong communication skills Ability to handle physical aggression and challenging behaviors Detail-oriented with an emphasis on safety Must be a team player and self-directed Must be able to pass an organizational background check About Us: True Friends’ programs include camp, respite, therapeutic horseback riding, conference and retreat, travel, and team building, serving over 25,000 individuals annually.
