Overview:
This is a Full-Tim Frontline Supervisor Position that includes full-time employee benefits package and 40 hrs. / week regularly scheduled M-F on-site at the Underwood Home.

Responsibilities:
Program Coordinator Job Description Ø Serves as a model in effectively providing any and all levels of direct support and assistance. Ø Communicates effectively with clients by effective listening and appropriately responding and following up on their concerns. Ø By example, raises client’s awareness of appropriate behavior. Ø Assists in planning and assures for active and ongoing participation in a variety of community events and activities. Ø Assists clients in maintaining or developing friendship and family relations through correspondence and planning and coordinating special activities. Ø Identifies necessary resources for clients and advocates for these resources to the Program and/or Executive Director. Ø Supervises and takes action to promote the health, safety and welfare of the clients and ensures the physical environment meets their style and needs. Ø Demonstrates willingness and flexibility in meeting client, family and agency needs when appropriate. Ø Maintains a current drivers license and good driving record and willing to transport residents as necessary. Ø Critically evaluates the quality of support provided to the clients and continually strives for improvement.

Requirements:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) 1 year supervisory expirence 1 or more years DSP experience· Direct experience demonstrating effective leadership and organizational skills. · Degree preferred or related certification that meets qualifications for a “Designated Staff Person.” · Displays the exceptional social and emotional intelligence required to successfully motivate and lead a cohesive team of DSPs · Ability to utilize basic technology, possesses electronic and digital communications skills · Competency displayed in all areas recognized by NADSP’s Frontline Supervisor Competencies
