Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse)
Overview:
We are currently hiring an LPN or RN at our Belle Plaine, MN location! Full-Time or Part-Time day hours! Position does require every other weekend requirement. The nurses at Hope Residence perform a variety of professional nursing duties in the care of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
The purpose for this position is to be part of the Hope Residence Nursing Department, be aware of all medical issues of all the clients at Hope Residence, such as their needs for treatment, their medical appointments, and their day-to day health related activities and to provide nursing care to the clients in accordance with federal and state standards and the policies of the Lutheran Home Hope Residence and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest quality of care is given to each client at all times.
Requirements:
Must possess a current, unencumbered, license and registration to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of Minnesota. Must demonstrate leadership abilities to develop and motivate people; possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills; exhibit the ability to prioritize responsibilities; be flexible and able to work under stressful situations; possess good verbal and written communication skills; be self-directed and work autonomously.
