Finance Manager

Overview:
Our team seeks a Finance Manager with superior leadership and communication skills to manage and oversee the Finance Department in the Administrative Office. This position is instrumental in strategic planning at an executive level and reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities:
Key Performance Areas: - Manage all financial matters within budgetary parameters to ensure a stable and profitable return on the owners’ investments. - Oversee all budgetary matters to include the execution of the current budget and the formulation of all future budgets. - Oversee all financial fraud-related policies, procedures, and systems in support of client services according to Home and Community Based Services Licensed under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 245D as the designated Public Funds Integrity Monitoring Compliance Officer of Synstelien Community Services. - Manage all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing and payroll functions. - Prepares reports and provide analysis of expenditures, reconciles accounts, and analyzes cash flow trends. Accounting documents are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. - Ensures payroll is completed on a bi-weekly basis, providing reconciliation reports coordinated between multiple sources verifying wages, timekeeping, employee benefits, and other factors. - Responsible for the tracking and recording depreciation of assets. - Monitor Profit & Loss, cash flow, Net Income, and debt reduction according to budget and strategic plan - Oversee all property, plant, and assets according to policy, best practice, and provide supervision for the Property Manager. - Provide oversight of the Administrative Coordinator position to ensure consistent support for the Administrative Team.

Requirements:
Qualifications: - Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred, Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting - Required Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of accounting, program budgeting and fiscal management - Experience Required: 3+ years finance management experience - Proven record of influencing and managing organizational change at the strategic level. - Mission driven, self-directed, and commitment to integrity and excellence. - Ability to coach, train and influence diverse individuals on all levels of the organization. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Word, and Google Chrome - Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
