Overview:

We are currently seeking a Designated Manager to oversee 3-4 programs in the Twin Cities and surrounding area.

Responsibilities:
The District Director position is responsible for the oversight, growth, and overall well-being of the programs they are responsible for. This position oversees the Designated Coordinator role. An example of some of the job duties of a Designated Manager are:1. Provide oversight, guidance, and supervision of the Designated Coordinators in your assigned programsEnsure the implementation and oversight of services provided to the people supported as designated in their Community Service Support Plan2. Evaluate and coordinate intakes for the programs in your area, assist with development of person-centered program design to best meet the persons needsFoster a good partnership between the people you support and their team to create person-centered services that take in to consideration their wants, needs, hopes, and dreams3. Ensure compliance and best practices with 245D across the programs you are responsible for4. Support the Designated Coordinators with crisis management and problem solving as needed5. Provide on-call support to Designated Coordinators6. Interested applicants must possess excellent communication skills, the proven ability to collaborate with individuals and their families in a productive manner, comfort in providing proactive behavioral supports to individuals receiving services, and a strong skill set in the areas of staffing and staff development.

Requirements:
To be eligible for the Designated Manager role applicants must meet the requirements for the Designated Coordinator role as outlined in 245D AND have a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a program that provides services to people with disabilities or mental health diagnosis. Preferred applicants will have a four year degree in the area of Human Services or related studies. This position requires the ability to be deemed eligible to provide services via State of MN Department of Human Services Background Study. Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and the ability to be approved to drive per Beacons insurance requirements.
