Residential Program Manager (Designated Coordinator)

Mains’l Services is currently seeking a full-time Program Manager. As a Program Manager you would oversee a team of Direct Support Professionals supporting a group of people who need assistance to live successfully in their own homes and communities. The Program Manager will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others as they partner with the person and their team, stakeholders and community members to collaborate with the person in navigating their supports and services.

Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day work may include: • Managing a caseload of people receiving services, which may include hourly services and/or people who receive support in a 24-hour residential home setting • Managing the financial sustainability of the caseload by following department budgets • Prepare, share, and store Enrollment & annual paperwork as required by licensing rules and regulations • Communicate and collaborate with guardians/legal representatives, case managers, and other members of the person’s team • Partner with HR in the Recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Direct Support Professionals and Support Coordinators • Provide Performance Management to Direct Support Professionals and Support Coordinators as needed through performance feedback, coaching conversations and 1:1 meeting • Maintain a staffing schedule that meets the needs of the person and or home • Act as back-up to help cover shifts when needed according to staffing schedules.

Requirements:
Need to meet one of the following qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older 2.2. Associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older3. Diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older4. Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older.
