Maintenance Technician
Overview:
The person in this position has the responsibility to coordinate a variety of services including, but not limited to: Assure buildings, grounds, and properties are well maintained and in good repair at all times. Have a working relationship with contactors. Has the ability to act as a foreman on jobs while training other staff on maintenance tasks. Manage time effectively with operations to keep up with tight deadlines and many other demands at one time. Will personally complete maintenance and remodeling tasks and also arrange to have these same items done by outside contractors as needed.
Responsibilities:
Maintain condition of the properties with regards to all aspects of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and painting work.
Requirements:
2+ years experience and preferred formal training in electrical, plumping, and constructionAbility to learn quickly and able to keep up in ever changing fast paced environmentEffective trouble shooting and communication skillsStrong background in general building and equipment repair and light constructionSelf starter and able to work independently as well in a group settingAble to meet physical requirements
