PT DSP Needed -$1500 Sign-On Bonus! - St. Paul Area

Overview:
Wingspan Life Resources has Part-Time and On-Call openings for committed, high-quality Direct Support Professionals (DSP) providing services to people with developmental and other disabilities in our 4 to 6-person group homes in Saint Paul and the surrounding metro area. Experience is not required and paid training is provided. Some openings include sleep and awake overnight shifts. We currently offer a fantastic $1500 sign-on bonus for all of our DSP positions: $500 after the first 4 months of service, $500 again after 8 months, and an additional $500 after 1 year. Generous Benefits Package: Employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more are offered: Dental Insurance, PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and after a year of service, enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%. Our Saint Paul locations include homes in Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Maplewood, Roseville, Shoreview, and Saint Paul. Responsibilities:
DSPs are the foundation of Wingspan’s services. The DSP is an assistant to our clients with their daily routines, home care, and medical administration. They build relationships, implement individual program plans, participate with our clients in recreational activities, and perform other duties as necessary. The DSP is responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each individual.

Requirements:
Qualifications: 18 years of age or older High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English Must be comfortable using a computer The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check A passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives highly desired
