Overview:
Accord is seeking a Program Coordinator to develop and implement activities for individuals with developmental and other disabilities attending our Day Supports Program. Responsibilities:
Be an essential employee to the well-being of the people we support. You will: Plan and implement in-person, virtual, and community-based programming that nurtures the needs, self-expression, and goals of persons supported. Examples of programs include Community-Based Skill Building, Healthy Relationships, and Personal Empowerment and Self-Advocacy. Convene workgroups to build relationships with program attendees and get input into the type and frequency of desired programming that meets their needs. Build relationships with community organizations to facilitate partnerships and opportunities for a greater variety of programming. Secure and prepare needed program-related materials. Implement, communicate, and post the program schedule so program attendees can choose activities in which they have interest and meet their defined goals. Track program ratios; ensure sufficient staffing and programming to meet the needs of individuals supported by the program and in compliance with service standards. Train employees on program delivery and provide support as programs are implemented. Create and implement structure to evaluate program effectiveness; adjust programs where needed to ensure quality programming that meets the needs of individuals and is delivered professionally and efficiently. Create and implement structure to evaluate program offerings, identify gaps, and generate new ideas to meet the needs of attendees and remain relevant in the industry. Document any billable services provided in the selected electronic health record/database system within 1 business day of providing services. As a mandated reporter, respond and report all incidents that occur while providing services to protect the health and safety of and minimize risk of harm to the person(s) supported.. Be forward thinking; identify and propose ideas for new programming. Serve as a representative of the agency to the people we support, our community partners and external constituents. Be a positive role model for other employees. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills/abilities. Travel locally for work with limited overnight travel possible.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), preferably in Human Services or a closely related field is required.
