Program Services Consultant
Overview:
STAR Services is looking to add to our consulting and training team. We’re looking for an experienced professional who qualifies as a Designated Coordinator and Designated Manager to work on a creative and innovative team supporting providers in the disability field. Candidates with formal person-centered training and facilitation are encouraged to apply! This position is a combination of working from home, working at the office in St. Paul, and going to customer locations throughout Minnesota but primarily in the Twin City Metro area.
Salary $43k+ DOQ.

Responsibilities:
Duties may include function in Designated Coordinator, Designated Manager and/or QDDP role for specific customers,
coordinate and assist customer HCBS programs,
maintain a working understanding of applicable rule and regulations including but not limited to the following: 245A, 245C, 245D, Vulnerable Adult Act, Maltreatment of Minors Act, HIPAA, and Adult Foster Care Regulations, as well as other regulations,
consult with customers regarding current rules and regulations as governed by the Dept. of Human Services and the Dept. of Health,
consult with and educate customers regarding licensing requirements,
facilitate Person-Centered Planning,
develop and teach engaging training curriculum as well as coach individual staff.
Requirements:
Requirements include
qualify as a Designated Coordinator and Designated Manager, have
experience or training with Person-Centered facilitation using various methods preferred,
ability to train others,
experience with technical writing preferred,
strong communication skills,
excellent customer service skills, and
must have a valid driver’s license
