Job SummaryA positive support analyst oversees the consistent implementation and development of the positive behavior support plan in coordination with the positive support professional. The positive support analyst provides training, direction for data collection, and analysis. They ensure feedback and communication with the positive support professional.
Areas of Responsibility1. Complete an individualized functional behavior assessment.2. Oversees consistent implementation of the behavior support plan in coordination with the positive support professional.3. May be required to assist with gathering information for the initial assessment.4. Provides training, direction for data collection, and data analysis5. Ensures essential feedback and communication with the positive support professional6. Communicates with all levels of management to ascertain future training needs and takes appropriate steps to meet those needs7. Recommends and implements new procedures to ensure the efficient operation of training services8. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, county, and internal operations laws, policies, and requirements, pertaining to areas of responsibilities9. Frequently transports clients in personal vehicle
Minimum Qualifications:1. 21 years of age or older2. Have obtained a baccalaureate degree, master’s degree or a PhD in a social services discipline OR meet the qualifications of a Mental Health Practitioner as defined in Minn. Stat. §245.462, subd. 17.3. Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc.4. 4 years of supervised experience conducting functional behavior assessments and designing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of positive practices behavior support strategies for people who exhibit challenging behaviors, as well as co-occurring mental disorders and neurocognitive disorders.5. Eligible as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Department of Human Services6. Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements as defined by the Company’s insurance carrier; possession of a personal vehicle for use in performing work-related activities, and necessary insurance coverage
