At Trillium Works!, our highly trained Job Coaches are thoughtful, patient, innovative, and committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to overcome barriers and build independence in the workplace. From the morning pick up to the afternoon drop offs, job coaches spend their day in a mentor role assuring that people have autonomy in their own success. This includes on-the-job guidance, building skills through volunteer opportunities, resume development, and interview preparedness. Job coaches receive extensive on-the-job and classroom training and have the support of a strong and knowledgeable supervisory staff. Responsibilities of the Job Coach-Direct Support Professional • Assist people with the development of employment skills. • Assist people with their Job Search. • Promote community contribution and empower people to accomplish their career goals. • Work out in the community one on one with the individual who is working or looking for a job. • Perform all shift duties in-accordance with program protocols. • Follow all program rules and regulations, supervision and safety.
