Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for providing a variety of human resource functions to employees and administration at all levels of the organization. The generalist is a member of the Human Resource Department and reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
• Embrace Range Center, Inc.’s Mission and Philosophies • Carry out day to day Human Resource activities • Act as key person for all information regarding all employee workers’ compensation claims and leave of absence as defined under state and federal laws, policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements • Assist with company recruitment efforts • Assist with orientation of new employees • Facilitate performance evaluations for bargaining unit employees • File and maintain records • Work closely with Range Center, Inc. Leadership to ensure parties are informed and up to date on critical issues • Other as per job description
• Two years of college or technical school, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Administration and at least one year of office administration o comparable experience may be considered • Demonstrated knowledge of rules/regulations pertaining to the field of human resources • Maintain professional relationships by upholding strict confidentiality of all issues • Ability to work with a variety of people and ability levels • Excellent organizational skills • Excellent written communication • Ability to be self-directed and work without close supervision. • Demonstrated competency in human resources practices and collective bargaining agreements • Strong understanding of company policies and procedures
